Bow Tie Rebranding
The goal of this project was to take an existing item and rebrand the logo and packaging in order to target a new audience while continuing to appeal to the product's current audience. I chose to rebrand the Walmart George brand of bow ties to target a younger audience of 15-30 year old males and females who may or may not have much experience with fashion, specifically bow ties. My approach focused on making the bow tie packaging look more upscale and trendy, while still retaining a vintage, classic feel. I also used a recycled material to appeal to an eco-friendly audience. The window on the back of the packaging is used to compare the bow tie with potential matching patterns and colors for those customers who may be a little less fashion savvy.
